Lisa's Dog Walking Service is a dog walking/pet sitting business located in Metairie, La.  Recently featured in Element Magazine 7/2009.  The article is listed below.  My name is Lisa Adams & I have owned dogs ever since I was a child.  So as you can imagine, I have plenty experience walking dogs, both large and small.  I had 2 dogs of my own in the picture to the left & below but due to my recent divorce I now only own 1. 

My little dog was named Lucky and I had him ever since I was 12 years old.  Unfortunately, he died 1 week before Christmas in 2009.  He was 18 1/2 years old.  I am very proud to say that because most dogs don't live to be that old and I would like to think it is because I took very good care of him!  He was mixed with pekingnese and terrier.  He was the love of my life & I miss him very much!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  I feel like my heart is broken now & I'll never be the same.  I would do anything to bring him back if I could!  He was my son & my best friend!

My big dog is named Eskimo and he is a Siberian Husky.  He is 7 years old and very playful.  He still acts like a puppy.  Sadly, he now stays w/ my ex-husband.




The most recent addition to our family is Emmy. She is a 1 yr old teacup chihuahua. She is such a sweet girl! She is very loving & reminds me alot of Lucky.
 
If you haven't realized yet, I am an animal lover!  The service I provide is not only very rewarding to the dog but also to me because of my love for animals.  I treat my own dogs like they are my kids.  They are a part of my family!  So that's how you can expect me to treat yours.  I am fully insured through Pet Sitters Associates so you can feel safe knowing that your baby is in good hands!
 
Also, I am not a big company.  I am the owner & only employee so you do not have to worry about me sending a different person to your house each time.  It is not fair to the dog to have to get use to several different people, especially if you have a scared, territorial or untrusting dog!

  This is an article that was written about me in July 2009. Not all of it is entirely accurate though. I think they misinterpreted a few things I was trying to say such as I only walk multiple dogs if they're in the same house hold not because I can't handle them but because most people don't want me walking there dog w/ other peoples dogs & I never finish my work before 10am. I had said it would be nice if I could but I don't. Wish I could've taken this picture after I lost my 50 lbs, lol!
